Game rules may vary slightly from host to host. When hosted by a Mage or a Muse, the only prizes that will be distributed are 4 Point Clams.

The object of the game is to respond to the word you are provided within the time limit, using the first word that comes to your mind that is associated with the word you were given.

Example:
Word Given: "Ocean"
Associated word: "Water"
  • SCORING POINTS
Points are scored based on the amount of time it takes for you to send your answer.

Each round has a time limit. You receive one point for each second you have remaining after sending your answer.

So if the time limit is 30 seconds and you send your answer in 10 seconds, you receive 20 points.
  • STRIKING OUT!
There are several ways to strike out. If you should happen to strike out, 5 points will be deducted from your score.

Here are the things you need to watch out for so you don’t strike out:

1. Not responding within the time limit

2. Repeating a word which has already been used in any other form.
(ie: TRADE, TRADES, TRADED are all considered the same word)

3. Sending a word which the host deems to have absolutely nothing to do with the word you were provided in order to avoid striking out.

4. Sending multiple word answers. ie: “Frenchbread” or “French bread”

The game ends when the host calls TIME! The top 4 scorers at that time win the game!
