Hosting & Scheduling Rules and Procedures

1. If you wish to host with current Acolyte prizes you need a Staff Sponsor. Talk to an Acolyte or Oracle you know or page an Acolyte and they will post your request for sponsors who are accepting new hosts.

2. You will be required to join the DS Host Forum in order to maintain your Sponsored status. Your Sponsor will provide the details for joining.

3. Whenever possible, you will be required to post notification in the DS Public Forum and the DS Host Forum, when you will be unable to host. If you are unable to post prior to your scheduled game, you are asked to post as soon as possible afterwards in the DS Host Forum, that you missed your game.

4. Sponsors may have additional requirements implemented for their hosts. Please ask beforehand, so that you can find the best match for yourself

5. We will not schedule two games of the same type in the same time slot, unless, one game is Free and the other is Token.

6. If a time slot is very crowded with games you may be asked to choose another time. This is out of respect for established hosts and the effort they have put into their games, as well as to help you get a decent player base to begin with.

7. Choose your hosting locale carefully. Locales with Vendos, ATM machines, Pawns, Transporters, Elevators, Turf Managers, and other such necessary machines may not be blocked. There are also a few "traditional usage" locales which will not have new games scheduled: These are Magic Shop, Regency Hall Outside, Mage Workroom, Paint Labs and Avatarwares, Monument Square and The Memorial Wall as well as the interior Theatre locales. (Outside the Theatre is fine)

8. All schedule requests and replies MUST be done via email so an accurate record can be maintained. ESP's to the Calendar Team are not a good way to take care of Calendar matters

9. Games may be placed On Hold for up to two months, extensions beyond that time must be approved. Please contact your sponsor and/or Oracle LapinFou for extensions. Games without extension approvals, may be removed at anytime after two months with or without prior notice to host.

10. Hosts may exclude a player from a single game for being disruptive to the game, to the host, and to the other players. Host MUST save text and take a screen shot of the behavior, and then place the player on ignore, and/or, host should page an Acolyte to assist in the removal of the disruptive player. Regardless of the path chosen, host, co-host, or another designated individual witnessing the situation MUST save text and take a screenshot prior to using the ignore feature. Instances that might warrant immediate action may include, but are not limited to, esp bombing the host, repeatedly and knowingly violating TOS, ghosting and unghosting in an obvious attempt to cause other players problems, etc. Please be sure that the removal of the player is warranted and well documented before removing the player.

Personality conflicts between Host and Player, or between Player and Player, will NOT constitute sufficient reason for single game exclusion, forced ghostings or banning.

To ban a player, a host MUST contact his/her Acolyte sponsor, provide text and screenshot documentation of offense warranting banning:

1) First offense that warrants banning - One month suspension

2) Second offense that warrants banning - Two month suspension

3) Third offense that warrants banning - Management to review the situation and decide on what type of further action will be taken.

NOTE: If host is unsponsored, host must contact one of the Event Oracles with documentation.
