Mission Statement
The Welcomers of the Dreamscape are principally to aid new Avatars as they arrive in world, but are also available to assist all community members when asked for information, directions or about in world resources.
New Avatars are welcomed and information is offered regarding all the functions of their avatar, how to customize their avatar, and to navigate their way in world. When possible, they are introduced to other Avatars so they may integrate quickly into the Dreamscape community. New Avatars also receive a financial gift and a chest containing items donated by generous members of the community.
As an active staff group, the Welcomers also contribute to the enjoyment of all Avatars by providing Welcomer hosted games; a bi-monthly Welcomer Turf Raffle for the support of new Avatars in world; a Quarterly Turf Contest showcasing the talents of many Avatars and provide activities and prizes on their designated Staff Weekends.
