Tips for a Beautiful Life
Last year I left “corporate
other women across the world. How am I building this beautiful life? Well, I just got married, spent the
holidays with my family, and am the founder of The Femme Network – an online community of professional
women
who connect with each other to share “Beautiful Life and Business Building
Tools”.
Here is MY 2007 beautiful life story: In December 2006 I got engaged to an amazing man… it was the
happiest day of my life… although, no one told me how stressful and time consuming wedding planning is!
After a month of blissfulness, the harsh truth set in that I have a 200+ person wedding to plan in less
than
8 months. Fear and stress overwhelmed me and I started to freak out.
What should I do first?
What is most important?
How do turn this stress into motivation and productivity?...
… asking myself all of these questions, and having open communication with my
fiancé led to an epiphany:
I will have a beautiful life, I deserve a beautiful life and I want a beautiful life for myself and those around me.
Having this man as my husband is one of the most important pieces for me to have a beautiful life… having the
perfect wedding is a minor detail. The more I focused on having a beautiful life, the easier it was
to
take steps towards building that beautiful life.
Okay, so this all sounds awesome, but how does it work? Here are the top 3
tools/tips I have for making it work!
A good friend of mine, Brooke Emery, is the master of Attraction. She’s helped
me to attract the “perfect” business &
personal relationships, by teaching me that I need to focus on what I want, believe that I will have it and that I deserve it,
and
finally she taught me to see signs directing me towards or away from
life-changing events/decisions.

Seven years ago, before I met Brooke, or took any self-help courses, I was lucky
enough to have a powerful force in
my life helping me through all of the tough decisions I needed to make. This powerful force is my mother. She taught
me that I have the power to create a beautiful life for myself. Each morning she would say to me “Make it a great day”…
a statement that gave me the power to create each day the way I’d like to live it. We only have control over ourselves,
so
the more we focus on our feelings and actions, the more powerfully we can chose
how to live our lives.
2) Listen to MY mother – start each day by choosing
to “Make it a great day”.
Another dear friend of mine wrote a best-selling book called: “How to Be HAPPY
DAMMIT!”. In this book the author Karen
Salmansohn charges readers to rid their lives of icky habits that keep them from being happy. On the first page of the
book she gives us a great factoid: We think 60,000 thoughts a day… imagine if all 60,000 were positive thoughts… would
our
lives be more beautiful? YES! Positive thinking leads to positive actions which
lead to more positive thinking, etc.
3) Read Karen’s books, come to her seminars, listen
to her radio show on SIRIUS radio (LIME channel 8am – 9am,

Reading positive books, participating in attraction/self-help courses and
listening to my mother are ALL very useful tools in building
a
Beautiful Life... but so is sharing your experiences, tips, business tools and
helpful resources with other like-minded women.
