Welcomer Raffle Hit's The Streets Of newHorizon's
After visiting the Welcome Center and hearing about a new Raffle for the upcoming Welcomer's Great Outdoor Cookout Event. I decided to investigate this furthur and find out what all the talk is about.
As i entered the Center i was greeted by two of the female Welcomer's, Welcomer Revy and Welcomer Kiki.
My first question of course was, "What is this Raffle all about ?".
Almost imediatly, i was presented with a scrolling macro which i took the following picture of.
Welcomer Kiki explained that the raffle is to raise tokens for the Welcome Center. Welcomer Revy added that the raffle will help the Welcomer's ensure that all newbies are taken care of and no one will miss out as the tokens raised are to buy items and to give Newbies tokens when they arrive in our world.
I asked when the raffle will be drawn, Welcomer Kiki told me that the draw will take place at 6pm on Sunday 17th.
So now we know what the raffle is intended for, but what do the lucky winners get as prizes ?.
I found out that there are thirty 1 of a kind Welcomer Turfs which have been custom designed, one Aviwares Turf and 3 Donated Turfs up for grabs. Being a curious person, i asked how much the raffle had raised so far and i was amazed at the answer. 16,550,000 and still growing by the day.
But as i talked to the Welcomer's i soon learned that there is a sinister plot going on at the same time, confused ? well so was i.
What i learned from listening was that a certain Bartender named Wally has been kidnapped by a group calling themselves MIB Bandits. Apparently they are holding him ransome and demanding that the Welcomer's raise 30 million tokens for the safe return of Wally. The MIB Bandits told the Welcomer's that if the ransome wasn't met then they would never see Wally again.
Lets hope and pray that our members continue to support our fine team of Welcomer's and help raise the ransome to get Wally back and help all our newbies for a long time to come.
