The Coronation

The news of the new found heir spread quickly through the kingdom. All the citizens were elated and could not wait to meet their new Prince. Immediately the citizens of Second Kingdom started to prepare for the celebration of the Crowning of the new King.

The kingdom was decorated in colorful festive banners, and the feeling of new hope for all.

With the day of crowning at hand all citizens of the kingdom gathered in the throne room. Queen Fesora spoke to the citizens of the kingdom for the last time as their Queen.

" My loyal subjects, This day has long been awaited, and will forever be remembered in our history scrolls. It is because of you, citizens of the Kingdom that this day has come. You all have my most sincere gratitude, for you have rescued the rightful heir and brought him back to the throne of the Kingdom - my son."

" My reign here as the Queen of the Second Kingdom has had its ups and downs, but through it all, my loyal subjects have given me the strength to endure and allowed me to see this day. Shortly, I will be stepping down as the Queen, but as the sun sets on my reign, it also rises on the reign of Renti, the true heir of the Kingdom. I know that there are great things in the future of the Kingdom. I am more than sure that Renti will be the guiding force needed to lead you all through many adventures to come. Although I will be stepping down as the Queen, I will still very much be here in my Kingdom - my home. I thank you all once again for your support, loyalty, and devotion."

As the Queen removed her crown, Fortan took out his staff and began the coronation.

As time progresses, we see the reign of many Kings and Queens. From the times of King Plentur until the present, we have been blessed with the graceful rule of Queen Fesora.

However, today the light has faded on Fesora and is now brightly glowing upon Renti. And in this glow, the divine purity, wisdom, and honor will forever flow freely, guiding you in your rule as the King of our fair Kingdom.

The crown that is held by Fesora symbolizes the everlasting bond between the ruler and his Kingdom. The crown has also represented many rulers that have done great things in the past. It is you who will continue the line, and are destined for great things in the future. However, the crown is not the force that is ruling this land. The crown is a mere symbol of the ruling force. It is the person who is under the crown that leads the Kingdom into happiness and success.

I, as all of the citizens of the Second Kingdom know, there will be great success in our future. In the past, we were able to rest easy knowing that the fair and the just rule this land. We will continue to rest easy throughout the course of your reign.

Renti, true King of the Second Kingdom, do you swear to uphold the laws of the Kingdom, the trust of the citizens, and the honor of the crown from this day forth?

Without hesitation Prince Renti answered, " I swear"

Queen Fesora handed the crown to her son, as Fortan said to Prince Renti, " Don your crown, and take your rightful place as the King of the Second Kingdom."

Turning to the citizens Fortan announced, "So let it be known! We at long last have our new King of the Second Kingdom. Long live the King."

Dorran, Sentira, Milo and all members of the kingdom joined in a resounding, " Long live the King"

Just as everyone was welcoming our new King, a bright light flashed, to everyone’s amazement three beautiful white doves appeared on the throne.

It seems that the Doves are foretelling that gifts are going to be bestowed upon us to symbolize the acceptance of the new King by the Faeries, the elves, and the trolls!

Before everyone retired to the crowning dinner, King Renti had an announcement for his citizens. He was opening the Royal Gardens for all to enjoy.

The story continues....
