Amphelica was one of the Queen's Ladies-in-waiting. She was charmed by Gast and fell in love with him. He persuaded her to help him find a secret entrance into the kingdom, thereby enabling Gast to capture the throne as described above. When the guards attacked Gast, she stepped in the way giving up her own life for his. She was beheaded with a blade intended for Gast.
