The Second Kingdom Thespians are a loyal (or disloyal!) group of role-players whose mission is to serve the King, help you understand the History of the Second Kingdom, and assist you with Quests. Click on a link at left or a picture below to read more about each character.
King Marentius We citizens of the Second Kingdom are very proud of our good and noble King! We sought for him long and through much labor and many mighty Quests - which you may read about in the History of the Second Kingdom. When Marentius (affectionately known by many of us as "Renti,") was a young man, before we found him at last, he traveled far and wide and became involved in many mysteries. It is thanks to his acquaintance with other great Kings, Magicians, and even Gods, that we are now joined in a beneficial alliance with the Dreamscape.
[Back to Top] Queen Mother Fesora Fesora retired from the throne when King Marentius, her long-lost son, was returned to us and accepted the crown. But she remains very active in the Kingdom and involved in the affairs of the Second Kingdom, and loves it's people. Since she has retired she is able to spend more time with them, hosting Acromania in the Castle Terrace Games locale every Wednesday at Noon, VZT.
[Back to Top] Fortan the Wizard Fortan has been a loyal retainer of the Kingdom since before Marentius' father, Plentur, led his people here. Nobody is really sure how old he is. He was lost to us before we found our King, and it seemed that there was no hope that there should ever be a Second Kingdom! But the Citizens engaged in many Quests to find him, and we are thankful for his help once more.
[Back to Top] Milo, Fortan's apprentice Fortan is still a strong and powerful wizard but he is looking forward to one day retiring and returning to the mountains where he was born. Milo, though of common birth, is a noble and kind young man who has been working hard under Fortan's tutelage for many years, and he is steadily growing in wisdom and power. We are confident that he will one day fill Fortan's shoes.
[Back to Top] General-at-Arms Dorran Dorran is the fiercely loyal and stalwart Right Hand of the King, and he relies on her implicitly to ensure that the Kingdom is safe from the plots and schemes of Gast, as well as from any other untoward occurrences that may arise. General Dorran is a great believer in mingling with the Citizens in order to keep them and herself abreast of Kingdom news, and hosts Yahtzee in the Castle Terrace Games locale every Friday at 4:PM VZT.
[Back to Top] Sentira Sentira was born and raised in Geldorn Village and joined the Royal Guard very young in life, in order to fight Gast and keep her homeland safe. She finds Dorran to be a strict task-master but has undying respect for her, and is thankful to still able to visit her favorite home-town tavern in Geldorn for an ale with friends in her off-hours.
[Back to Top] The Frogsplat Sisters: Ferula and Fimula The Frogsplat Sisters came from over the Sea at a call from their former mentor, Kazoo, when he retired from his post in the Castle Magic Shop. They brought many interesting magickal applications with them to share, and are happy to help us learn Magic as well.
Fimula also hosts Slingo every Monday at 5:PM VZT.
[Back to Top] Lady Megan The owner of the Tavern in Geldorn was very advanced in years, but he had no family to whom he could pass on his property and responsibilities. Or so he thought, until Second Kingdom merged with DreamScape, and he received word of distant cousins there who still lived in a mountainous country. He sent word to his cousin Bartholomew, and in reply was sent a wagon bearing Bartholomew's beautiful young neice, Lady Megan and all of her belongings. She dutifully, even if not eagerly, took on the job of maintaining the inn, though she does do things a little differently now. For one thing, she has tranining in classical music, and brought a harpsichord with her, with which she provides entertainment and attempts to bring a little culture to Geldorn!
[Back to Top] Turpis When the Geldorn Tavern began to increase in popularity, its upkeep became more work than Lady Megan could handle alone, so she advertised for a helper. But Tavern work is hard, and she received only a few applicants, most of whom seemed to be more interested in keeping an eye on the ale barrels than in mopping and serving. Finally she found that the most reliable and hardworking candidate was a Troll. Though she had some misgivings at first, she hired him, and has not regretted it since. Turpis has proved to be most friendly and eager to please, even if he does sometimes still spill a tray of drinks or mix up the orders.
[Back to Top] Walganus Walganus, affectionately known as "Wally," is Gast's number one henchman - his loyalty is undying and he insists that his master is Good and ought to be the rightful King of the Second Kingdom, but since Trolls are not really known for their great intelligence, sometimes his efforts to serve Gast prove to be more of a liability than an asset to Gast's plots..
[Back to Top] Gast Here is the villain we all love to hate! He has his own reasons for believing he should be the rightful ruler of Second Kingdom, and no trick is too low or deception too despicable for him to use in his attempts to achieve his goals. He has convinced (some say tricked) the Trolls to join his side, and Marentius and Dorran strongly suspect that he is raising a secret army somewhere as part of his plan to eventually achieve total domination of our Kingdom.
Gast has found that hosting Poker Slots in the Castle Terrace Games is one way to get himself into the Castle legally, but all are advised to keep a close eye on him while playing....
[Back to Top] Mildrede the Sorceress Mildrede has tried many different ways to become a major Power in the Kingdom but so far her plans seem always to have gone awry. At one time she was - or pretended to be - Gast's assistant, but it seems that in the end she will serve no one. Or will she? She has recently survived a close brush with a fate worse than death, thanks to Milo, who still believes she can be saved, and the Citizens and Questors, who still aren't so sure. Perhaps she can change... Perhaps not!
