Any newHorizone member may submit a news article for publication and are encouraged
to do so. Please read the below guidelines before sending in your submission
to ensure we can post your story in a timely manner. Thanks in advance for
your contributions.
- Articles not in keeping with the VZones terms of service or with these
guidelines will not be published.
- One picture should accompany each submission. Pictures may not be graphically
modified. An exception to this rule would be if the graphical modification
involves an actual inworld item such a laying an AV down. Those pictures
will be considered on a case by case basis.
- Articles of a personal or editorial nature, better suited to public
forums, will be redirected to Delphi forums. Many members host forums pertaining
to VZones.
- Articles announcing personal events such as birthday parties, weddings,
the formation of a new club or club information can not be placed in the
newspaper as they are not technically news stories. If your club or friends
have an event, a story about the event, after it occurs, can be called
news and will be printed if you include one picture minimum with text.
- The editor will create your page for the news. Please just send the
text and associated pics via eMail. Alternatively, you may submit a URL
for publication in the headlines. URL will be reviewed for appropriate
content prior to being placed in the headlines. All other submission criteria
still apply.
- Your Avatar name must be included with your
article or the article will be published as author anonymous.

With a couple of exceptions (new vendo items, turf decorating and management
interviews), all writers are freelance and anyone may submit stories for
the paper. If one story is submitted by multiple people, the story printed
will be the first suitable one submitted or a combination of all submitted.
The editors reserve the right to re-word story, correct grammar and correct
spelling as required or seen fit unless you specifically request otherwise.
We are basically member story supported. In most cases, if members do
not submit stories to us, we have nothing to add to the headlines. We therefor
encourage your participation, look forward to it and thank you in advance.
Please submit any ideas, stories, comments or questions to the
News Editor at the News Desk Address.
